This year, the WAIC 2026 AI for Humanity Forum – Asia will be held under the theme: “AI Metamorphosis for Impact and Business Success.”
The forum will convene a distinguished group of stakeholders from across Asia, including government leaders, policymakers, technology innovators, academic experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives from international organisations.
Global thought leaders and practitioners will come together to explore how the AI for Humanity philosophy can serve as a foundational framework for transformation—balancing breakthrough technological innovation with commercial scalability, while embedding robust governance, ethical safeguards, and risk management through responsible investment.
Purpose and Outcomes:
The forum aims to catalyse meaningful, multilateral dialogue that translates into collaboration and concrete action. By advancing the principles of sustainable and responsible AI, it seeks to strengthen and expand the regional AI for Humanity ecosystem.
Ultimately, the forum will drive:
• Actionable and investable AI use cases that deliver both impact and commercial value
• Scalable impact initiatives aligned with societal and developmental priorities
• Venture and capital mobilisation towards responsible AI innovation
All efforts contribute towards a shared vision of advancing “AI for Humanity as UN SDG 18”—harnessing collective intelligence to shape a future where AI benefits humanity at scale.

WAIC China-ASEAN AI Forum:Advocate Trustworthy AI Business with AI for Humanity
On July 28, 2025, the WAIC 2025 China-ASEAN AI Forum opened in Room 1A of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center. This marks the fifth consecutive year the forum has been held in Shanghai, aiming to further deepen dialogue and cooperation in artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN.

WAIC China-Singapore-ASEAN AI Forum:AI Metamorphosis for Multilateral Cross Border Collaboration
On July 6, 2024, the WAIC 2024 China-Singapore-ASEAN AI Forum was successfully held in Meeting Room X at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center.
Themed around “Two-Way Overseas Expansion and Mutual Transformation,” the forum focused on diversified tracks such as “AI Governance,” “AI + Two-Way Overseas Expansion,” “AI + Financial Technology,” and “AI + Venture Capital,” exploring the diverse applications and commercial prospects of AI technology. It promoted two-way cross-border cooperation models and actively advanced international collaboration and mutual benefits.
