World Artificial Intelligence Conference, or WAIC for short, is one of the most influential AI events within the global tech, science, and industry ecosystem.
Since 2018, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) has been successfully held in Shanghai for seven consecutive years, bringing together the world’s most influential scientists, entrepreneurs, government officials, representatives of international organizations, investors, and startup teams in the field of artificial intelligence. It has become a vital platform and showcase for global AI academic exchanges, industry collaboration, exhibition displays, and partnership negotiations.

The WAIC China-ASEAN AI Forum 2025, themed “ Advocate Trustworthy AI Business Globally with AI for Humanity ”, will bring together technical experts, business leaders, policymakers, investors, family offices, and representatives from international organizations from China and ASEAN.
The forum will continue to uphold the philosophy of ” AI for Humanity ” and ” Sustainable AI ” focusing on the two core topics of ” Building Bilateral AI for Humanity Ecosystem ” and “Empowering Trustworthy AI Business“.
We will explore the multilateral cross border collaboration in the fields of large language and reasoning hybrid AI model and robotics, as well as how to build trustworthy products from three dimensions: technology, business, and governance.
The forum aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussion and exchange, promoting cooperation and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN.
WAIC 2025: SAIL Award
The only official award of the World ArtificialIntelligence Conference
The SAlL Award is guided by its core values of”superior”, “Applicative”, “Innovative”, and “Leading”. We seek outstanding projects globally that will contribute in the form of significant discoveries, breakthroughs, or original innovations in Al technology or applications such that they are already currently or will potentially shape our future. The SAlL Award focuses on projects in the field of Al that are highly recognized and esteemed and have significance in enhancing human well-being. Additionally, outstanding projects under evaluation will be included in the annual SAlL Award honor list.
